Pride Business and its sister website Pride Journeys is published by Joey Amato, a veteran of LGBTQ media with over 15 years of experience. Joey began his career as the first editor of South Florida Gay News and has since launched numerous LGBTQ businesses as well as served as past Executive Director of the Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce. Joey's proudest accomplishment was launching UNITE Magazine, a glossy LGBTQ lifestyle publication distributed in Nashville and Indianapolis. Over the years, numerous celebrities graced the cover of UNITE including: Dolly Parton, P!NK, Matt Bomer, Carrie Underwood and Bette Midler. Joey also launched UNITE Business, a national business publication which is now the template for Pride Business.
